Free creative resources
World Stencils provides free digital designs for personal creative projects under these terms. Advertising supports the website; no purchase, account, or advertisement click is required to download.
Personal use only
By downloading or using a design from our free library, you agree to use it only for personal, non-commercial projects. You may make items for yourself or give them to friends and family as gifts, without payment.
Free library: no digital resale or redistribution
Selling or reselling designs from our free library is strictly prohibited, including as digital stencils on Etsy, other marketplaces, or your own website. Do not redistribute, upload, bundle, or give away free-library files. These restrictions also apply to modified copies and files converted into another format. Share a link to the original World Stencils design page instead.
Free library: no commercial use
You may not sell physical or digital products made with designs from our free library, including printed items, cut stencils, clothing, signs, or other finished products. We do not currently offer a commercial license for free-library designs. Paying to prepare or convert a free-library file does not grant commercial rights. Custom digital stencil orders have separate commercial-use permissions.
Monitoring and copyright enforcement
We use AI-assisted tools to monitor online marketplaces and websites for unauthorized copies of our designs. If we identify suspected infringement of rights we own or are authorized to enforce, we may submit copyright infringement reports to Etsy or other platforms. Reports may lead to listing removal or store or account restrictions, suspension, or termination under the platform's policies. The platform determines what action to take.
Third-party rights
Third-party names, characters, logos, or symbols may carry rights beyond the artwork itself. A download does not grant those rights.
Materials and machines
Prepare files for your own machine, material, scale, and project. Raster images are intended for printing, tracing, or suitable engraving workflows; cutting requires appropriate vector paths. Follow the machine manufacturer’s material guidance and add stencil bridges as needed.
Website access
Do not bypass download limits, abuse the website, hotlink protected files, or use automation to mass-download the collection. Availability and file suitability are not guaranteed. We may pause abusive access and correct or remove content.
