World Stencils is operated by artist Fobius8. This policy explains how information is used when you browse this website, download designs, make privacy choices, or contact us. For privacy questions, contact World Stencils.

Information we use

We use a signed visitor cookie to protect downloads and prevent repeated likes. We store download totals, likes, and limited security records. IP addresses are transformed into keyed hashes for request limits; our hosting and security providers may also process raw IP addresses, browser information, and requests to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.

You do not need to provide an email address to download a free design. If you contact us, we receive the contact details and message you choose to send and use them to respond to your enquiry or custom-design request.

Cookies, browser storage, and your choices

Essential cookies support download security and prevent duplicate likes. We also use browser storage to remember your privacy choices. Optional analytics and advertising are disabled until you choose to allow them.

Open Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page to review, change, or withdraw your choices. You can reject optional analytics and advertising and still browse and download designs. Your browser also lets you delete stored cookies and site data; doing so may reset your preferences.

Google Analytics

When connected and permitted by your choices, Google Analytics helps us understand which pages people visit and how the website is used. Google may receive information such as page addresses, browser and device details, and technical connection data. Analytics is optional and can be turned off in Cookie preferences.

Google AdSense and advertising partners

When advertising is enabled, we may use Google AdSense and other third-party advertising vendors. These providers may place or read cookies, use web beacons or other identifiers, and process information such as your IP address to deliver ads, measure their performance, and detect fraud.

Google and its advertising partners may use advertising cookies to select personalized ads based on earlier visits to World Stencils and other websites, subject to your choices and applicable requirements. Other advertising vendors may use their own cookies for these purposes. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily stop advertising elsewhere on the internet.

Advertising consent and opt-out options

Advertising is subject to a separate consent-platform decision where required. When connected, the advertising privacy message identifies participating vendors and provides their information and available consent or opt-out controls. You can reopen the website’s privacy controls through Cookie preferences.

You can also change Google’s advertising personalization settings through My Ad Center. For interest-based advertising choices offered by participating third-party companies, visit YourAdChoices. These external services explain which providers, browsers, devices, and activities their choices cover; their settings do not replace your choices on this website.

Hosting, security, and external services

The website uses ChatGPT Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure to store and deliver its pages and files. Turnstile is used for suspicious downloads when configured. These providers may process technical information needed to run and secure their services.

Links to Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Using a sharing link passes the design link and related information to the service you select. If you contact us through an external service, that service also handles your information under its own policies.

Providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Their privacy notices explain their practices and any applicable protections. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and OpenAI’s Privacy Policy for more information.

How long information is kept

Our essential visitor cookie lasts up to one year. Website privacy preferences are remembered for up to 180 days. Download tickets expire after two minutes; expired tickets and rate-limit records are removed during maintenance after approximately one day.

Pseudonymous like records are retained to prevent duplicate likes. Website backups retain records and original uploads for recovery. Advertising and analytics providers apply their own retention periods, described in their privacy information.

Privacy requests and contact

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict certain uses, or withdraw consent. You may also have a right to complain to your local privacy regulator.

Contact World Stencils with your request and enough information to identify the relevant interaction. We may need to verify a request before acting on it. Changing your choices affects future processing; it does not undo processing that already took place.
